Choosing a Delivery Captain

 Lots of people can operate a boat.  With a little luck, most operators can get a boat from point A to point B.

An experienced delivery captain is paid to minimize the risks involved in moving your boat.  Anticipating risks, and knowing how to respond to emergencies, separate skilled boat captains from mere boat "operators."

Before leaving with your vessel, we will check to see that she is seaworthy and mechanically sound.  We also perform routine maintenance such as topping off engine oil and coolants daily.  We carry tools for minor repairs such as impeller replacement, linkage adjustment, or filter changes.

We will not pound your hull against heavy seas, nor will we run at wide open throttle.  We will maintain regular contact with you when possible.  We expect to complete each delivery with an undamaged, clean and well running vessel.

We will provide you with a summary log of daily boating conditions and each day's progress.
